CarenCart

Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to your use of CarenCart. They are deliberately short, because the service is simple: you use free tools, we make no promises we cannot keep.

Last updated: August 15, 2026

1. Acceptance

By using CarenCart you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. If you are using the site on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

2. The service

CarenCart provides free, browser-accessible document tools. No account is required. The service is offered on an as-is, as-available basis, and we may add, change, suspend or withdraw any tool at any time without notice. Tools marked In development are not functional and are listed only so you can see what is planned.

3. Your files and your responsibilities

You keep all rights in the documents you process here. We claim no ownership over them and no licence to use them beyond performing the operation you asked for.

You are responsible for what you process, and you agree that you will not use this site to:

  • Process material you do not own or lack permission to handle.
  • Remove protection from a document you are not authorised to open. Tools that remove a password require you to supply the correct password; supplying one you are not entitled to use is your responsibility, not a capability we provide.
  • Upload malware, or content that is unlawful, infringing, or produced through infringement.
  • Attack, overload, probe or otherwise interfere with the service, including by circumventing rate limits, automating access at scale, or attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the system.
  • Scrape, resell or repackage the service as your own.

Keep your own copies. Because files are deleted immediately and result links are single-use, we cannot recover anything for you. Never send us your only copy of a document.

4. No warranty on results

Document conversion is inherently imperfect. Formats store different things, and moving content between them loses information that cannot always be reconstructed. Tools may produce output that differs from the original in layout, formatting, fidelity or completeness, and may fail on unusual files.

The service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. Always check the output before relying on it, particularly for anything legal, financial, medical or otherwise consequential.

5. Availability

We do not guarantee uptime. The site may be unavailable for maintenance, may be rate-limited during heavy use, and may be discontinued. Nothing here is offered as a service level commitment.

6. Intellectual property

The CarenCart name, design, interface, written content and code are owned by their respective rights holders and protected by applicable law. You may use the site as intended; you may not copy, reproduce or redistribute its content or code as your own without permission. Third-party open-source libraries used by the browser-side tools remain under their own licences.

7. Advertising

This site may display third-party advertising. Advertisements are supplied by external advertising partners and do not constitute an endorsement by us of any advertiser, product or service. Dealings with advertisers are strictly between you and them. See the Disclaimer and Privacy Policy.

8. External links

Pages here may link to other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or practices. A link is not an endorsement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CarenCart and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, documents, profits, revenue or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service — including damage caused by a conversion that produced an unexpected result.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operators of CarenCart against claims and costs arising from your misuse of the service or your breach of these terms.

11. Changes

These terms may be revised. The revision date at the top of this page reflects the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.

12. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to contact@carencart.com.
